Stepping Up for Those Who Serve
In September 2026, Joanne will be taking on one of her biggest personal challenges yet. Climbing Pen y Fan as part of the Forces Wives Challenge, all while raising money for the Duke of Lancaster's Regimental Charity.
Joanne is married to an Army veteran who proudly served with the Duke of Lancaster's Regiment, including operational tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. She says "I've seen first-hand the resilience, sacrifice and strength shown not only by our serving personnel and veterans, but by the families who stand beside them every step of the way".
The Forces Wives Challenge is an incredible community that brings together military wives and partners through adventure, encouragement and friendship. It's about stepping outside your comfort zone, supporting one another and proving that we're capable of far more than we think.
Every donation, whatever the amount, will help support members of the Duke of Lancaster's Regimental family when they need it most.
