We aim to ensure that information published on our website is accurate, relevant and helpful. However, information relating to employment, recruitment, careers, qualifications, military life and other matters may change over time. Unless expressly stated otherwise, information provided through Beyond the CV is general information and should not be treated as individual legal, financial, employment or other professional advice. We encourage employers and applicants to undertake their own appropriate checks.
6. The Beyond the CV Charter
The Beyond the CV Charter is intended to encourage employers and organisations to recognise transferable skills, challenge unnecessary recruitment barriers and support fair employment opportunities. Participation in the Charter does not, by itself, constitute accreditation by a statutory regulator or an independent guarantee of an organisation's employment practices. Any certificates, supporter designations or recognition issued through the Charter relate to the relevant initiative and its published participation criteria. Employers and organisations remain responsible for complying with all applicable employment, equality, data protection and other legal obligations. Beyond the CV may review, amend, suspend or withdraw participation or recognition where reasonably justified, including where information has been materially misrepresented or an organisation no longer meets the relevant criteria. Any additional terms relating to particular Charter participation levels or services will be communicated separately where applicable.
7. Community Stories and Contributions
Beyond the CV may invite individuals to share personal stories, experiences, opinions and career journeys. We value honest conversations and recognise that experiences of military life and employment can vary significantly. Where you submit content for possible publication, you confirm that:

You have considered the privacy of any other individuals mentioned.
-
You have not knowingly included confidential, classified or operationally sensitive information.
-
Your contribution does not unlawfully infringe another person's rights.
Submitting content does not guarantee that it will be published. We may decline to publish, edit with the contributor's agreement, or remove content where reasonably necessary, including for accuracy, safety, privacy or legal reasons. Any arrangements for publishing identifiable personal stories, photographs or interviews will be explained separately, including the permissions required. We will not treat the submission of a story as automatic permission to use it for unlimited purposes.
8. Beyond the Uniform Podcast
Beyond the Uniform is a podcast initiative developed as part of Beyond the CV. The podcast aims to share experiences, encourage conversations and highlight the people behind military life, employment and career journeys. Views expressed by podcast guests are their own and do not necessarily represent the views of Beyond the CV or JB Property Law Limited. Podcast content is provided for general information, discussion and awareness. Participation in a podcast recording will be subject to appropriate arrangements covering recording, editing, publication and promotional use. Guests must not knowingly disclose confidential, classified or operationally sensitive information or unlawfully share another person's personal information. We reserve the right to decline, postpone or discontinue a recording or publication where reasonably necessary.
